  • Product Manager Games (m/f)

    We are looking for a new player for our team in Munich – immediate start!

    We, European Games Group, are a publishing and marketing partner for development studios of free2play games. The developers create the games – we market them and share the returns. The online and mobile games industry is one of the most fascinating and fastest growing markets worldwide, with a double digit growth rate for a number of years and turnover in the billions of dollars. Technical and game innovations build up real emotions, enthusiasm and passion – with products that entertain hundreds of millions of gamers worldwide. We are looking for talented, dedicated and open minded colleagues, who are as enthusiastic as we are and who want to share the ride and additionally gain profound experience and new skillsets on the way, also outside their main line of work!

    Your tasks:

    • Work with external Game Studios and Marketing to optimize monetization through features and in-game events
    • Provide extensive and useful feedback to the developers and give concrete recommendations for changes and features, to reach a games’ commercial potential and optimize its performance
    • Manage product line life cycles incl strategic planning
    • Identify and analyze best practices for optimization and feature implementation.
    • Drive user and competitive research to uncover user segments and identify player needs and product value propositions.
    • Analysis of competition and checking out market trends.
    • Helping the acquisition team to evaluate potential game hits and giving in-depth feedback on new titles, with emphasis on monetization possibilities and game-play improvements.
    • Co-Define future Product strategies
    • Represent the company when talking to partners or pitching to developers on trade fairs

    What you bring on the table:

    • Passionate about games in general, but especially multi format F2P online games, that are played by millions of players worldwide.
    • Deep knowledge of the F2P market and its trends as well as the general game market.
    • Experience in optimizing product features after release through data driven iteration.
    • Knowledge of Game design is a strong plus as well as fundamental expertise in UX/interface design; visually artistic comprehension is a plus.
    • Experience of development and live-operation of at least one free-to-play game.
    • Strong communication skills, both oral and in writing. Fluent in English. German language skills would be a plus.
    • Project management skills and experience with agile development methods like SCRUM and Kanban.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Must be a self-starter, a team player and driven.
    • Must be willing to relocate to Munich, Germany.

  • (Junior) Payment Manager (m/f)

    We are looking for a new player for our team in Munich – immediate start!

    Your tasks:

    • Manage external payment service providers and other third parties
    • Lead and further develop the global payment strategy and all projects within it, in close collaboration with finance, product and other internal/ external stakeholders
    • Research of new payment providers and the payment landscape, always be up-to-date on the payment market
    • Work closely with the finance department and deliver daily, weekly and monthly reports, statistics and forecasts
    • Maintain an effective fraud prevention solution: Identify and prevent fraudulent transactions and manage consumer conflicts
    • Optimization of consumer payment processes leading to better conversion rates and user experience
    • Maintain the reporting system to effectively and efficiently monitor, manage and continuously improve the payment process

    What you bring on the table:

    • Analytics driven approach, working with big data required
    • Good Excel, SQL skills are an advantage
    • Hands-on mentality and independent/ reliable approach to tasks essential
    • Internet / gaming enthusiast and/ or experience with managing payment portals would be a bonus
    • Willingness to deal with changing situations on a regular basis – will never get boring!
    • Fluency in English (Office language is English), other languages a plus.
    • A valid work and residence permit is required prior to commencement of employment
