    We, European Games Group, are a publishing and marketing partner for development studios of free2play games. The developers create the games – we market them and share the returns. The online and mobile games industry is one of the most fascinating and fastest growing markets worldwide, with a double digit growth rate for a number of years and turnover in the billions of dollars. Technical and game innovations build up real emotions, enthusiasm and passion – with products that entertain hundreds of millions of gamers worldwide. We are looking for talented, dedicated and open minded colleagues, who are as enthusiastic as we are and who want to share the ride and additionally gain profound experience and new skillsets on the way, also outside their main line of work!

     

    Your tasks:

    • Identifies financial status by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts based on P&L and product KPIs
    • Guides analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions
    • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
    • Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
    • Increases productivity by contributing to the developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
    • Supports colleagues with weekly cash management reports, monthly closing preparations.

    What you bring on the table:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
    • Minimum of 1 – 2 years of financial experience
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data
    • Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems
    • Accurate and well-structured in a fast-paced environment
    • Good MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • You are a team player and put your heart and soul into your work
    • You have very good spoken and written English skills and good German skills

  • (Junior) Payment Manager (m/f)

    Your tasks:

    • Manage external payment service providers and other third parties
    • Lead and further develop the global payment strategy and all projects within it, in close collaboration with finance, product and other internal/ external stakeholders
    • Research of new payment providers and the payment landscape, always be up-to-date on the payment market
    • Work closely with the finance department and deliver daily, weekly and monthly reports, statistics and forecasts
    • Maintain an effective fraud prevention solution: Identify and prevent fraudulent transactions and manage consumer conflicts
    • Optimization of consumer payment processes leading to better conversion rates and user experience
    • Maintain the reporting system to effectively and efficiently monitor, manage and continuously improve the payment process

    What you bring on the table:

    • Analytics driven approach, working with big data required
    • Good Excel, SQL skills are an advantage
    • Hands-on mentality and independent/ reliable approach to tasks essential
    • Internet / gaming enthusiast and/ or experience with managing payment portals would be a bonus
    • Willingness to deal with changing situations on a regular basis – will never get boring!
    • Fluency in English (Office language is English), other languages a plus.
    • A valid work and residence permit is required prior to commencement of employment

    Your tasks:

    • Set up monitoring and optimization of affiliate campaigns.
    • Set up cross-platform campaigns and exploring new opportunities
    • Help leading the team and support the company in its growth
    • Work with external marketing companies, monitor their performance, negotiate prices.
    • Be responsible for analysis, optimization and reportings of active campaigns in all performance marketing channels (SEA; social media advertising, partner/display).

    • Conversion flow optimization.
    • Share your experience and help the team to develop further.
    • Visiting trade fares.

    What you bring on the table:

    • At least 4 years of prior working experience in this field
