Brand Marketing Manager (m/f)

European Games Group is seeking a Brand Marketing Manager to join their dynamic small team in their headquarter office in central Munich. This role is a fantastic opportunity to be at the centre of the decision making process in a fast paced and never boring industry such as gaming. European Games Group works with top advertising agencies, media conglomerates and social game developers to help monetize and increase the user base of our titles. As a Brand Marketing Manager you will help develop our online and offline marketing as well as to develop our engagement with our existing community. From day one you will be engaged in the heart of the business and the company. We want you to grow with us and we will invest in you for the future.

The Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for the marketing budget, the brand identity, and the communications with our users for all our products. Creativity and Project Management skills are key to this role, the ideal candidate will be able to collect and turn small user insights into actions that drive consumer engagement and ultimately revenues, as well as coming up with new ideas for campaigns (above and below the line) with the goal of increasing awareness, improve user engagement and of course ultimately produce ROI. Doing this the holistic approach including all marketing channels, social and traditional, on- and offline, is key to success. Additionally, you will be representing European Games Group during weekly communications with our developers and partners, being the first point of contact to all marketing related subjects. The Brand Marketing Manager is a central figure in our organization and will be up to date with pretty much every topic regarding our products, therefore having access to a lot of useful information that needs to be translated into actions. The Marketing Brand Manager will work closely with all other departments (product, analytics, finance, etc) and will be responsible for planning our marketing efforts and deliver according to deadlines. You will also be the coordinator of all communications between our games and the users including Social Media, PR, email marketing, performance marketing, and so on. You will be also responsible for the coordination of a production team, in the realisation of all visual material to promote our games, from banners, to videos, to posters, etc. A proven track record of implementing successful integrated marketing campaigns is preferable. Knowledge of gaming is a plus but not required –experience in the field of E-Commerce, fast moving, low margin, retention oriented helps.

Business Development and AdSales Intern (m/f)

Your role includes but is not limited to:

– Support the Business Development and Adsales Team
– Development and management of sales and marketing activities of online & mobile games on various platforms
– Responsibility for the appearance of our games in the relevant download stores and lists
– Close cooperation with other (online) marketing areas, such as social media, coops, affiliates and performance marketing
– Reporting on and monitoring of relevant KPIs, preparing appointments and documents

Product Manager Games (m/f)

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Helping the acquisition team to evaluate potential games and giving in-depth feedback on new titles, with an emphasis on monetization opportunities and gameplay                   improvements.
  • Work with external Game Studios and internal leads from Paid Acquisitions, Marketing, PR, Social Media and others to develop and execute integrated marketing plans               throughout all phases of product development cycle.
  • Identify and analyze best practices for optimization and feature implementation.
  • Work with user and competitive research to uncover user segments and identify player needs and product value propositions.
  • Analysis of competition and staying on top of market trends.
  • Provide extensive and useful feedback to the developers and give concrete recommendations for changes and features within their games, with the primary goal to                     optimize the titles to be market-ready, accessible and profitable.
  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

 

Desired Requirements:

  • Passionate about games and the gaming industry, but especially multi format F2P online games, that are enjoyed by millions of players worldwide.
  • Deep knowledge of the F2P market and its trends.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and in writing. Fluent in English. German language skills would also be a plus.
  • Project management skills and experience with agile development methods like SCRUM and Kanban.
  • Knowledge of Game design is a strong plus as well as fundamental expertise in UX/interface design.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in optimizing product features after release through data driven iteration.
  • Experience in development and live-operation of at least one free-to-play game.
  • Must be a self-starter, team player and extremely driven.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Munich, Germany.
