  • Junior Marketing Manager (m/f) – Social Media/Influencer Marketing

    We are looking for a new player for our Munich team – immediate start!

     

    We, GamesGroup, are an international publishing and marketing enabler for independent-minded, midsize development studios, currently from 6 countries, of cross-platform (PC/Mobile) free2play games. The developers create the games – we market and scale them and cover all administrative and legal aspects of the commercialization. We create fans and monetize them.  The online/mobile games industry is one of the most fascinating and fastest growing markets worldwide, highly competitive, fast pace with a double-digit growth rate crossing over 100 billion of dollars. Technical and game innovations build up emotions, enthusiasm and passion – with products that entertain hundreds of millions of gamers worldwide.     We are looking for a motivated, proactive and result-oriented Junior Marketing Manager with a focus on Content, Social Media and Influencer Marketing, who will help us market and scale our upcoming games, by building communities, animate them as well as our existing 300 to 500K+ ones and strive for organic growth.

     

    Your responsibilities:

    Social Media

    • Plan, brief and manage best-in-class Social Media content for our games across all channels.
    • Plan and execute strategies to grow our new games’ communities across all relevant social media channels.
    • Work closely and collaboratively with Creative, Performance, PR, community managers and the Product team to implement cohesive and relevant Social Media Initiatives and campaigns.
    • Create and analyze regular and ad hoc reports on key KPIs and constantly generate ideas for growth and community development.
    • Apply and experiment social media best practices and new trends, by always staying up to date.

     Influencer Marketing

    • Plan, prepare and execute influencer marketing campaigns to support the growth of our games.
    • Create and analyze regular and ad hoc reports on key KPIs.
    • Work and manage communications with external agencies and influencers.
    • Research influencers across channels and progressively build a network of opinion leaders.

     

    What you bring to the table:

    • Bachelor or Master’s degree, or equivalent in the fields of Economics/Business and Marketing.
    • Experience in successfully managing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube…) for one product or more.
    • You live and breathe Social Media every day and have a deep understanding of their use, trends and culture.
    • An excellent written and verbal communication in English is a must. Additional language is a plus.
    • Experience in copywriting content for Social Media communities.
    • A creative eye, hands-on, proactive and detail-oriented mentality.
    • Willingness to deal with change on a regular basis, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
    • Being a Gaming enthusiast is a strong plus.
    • Knowledge of Photoshop is a plus.

  • Product Manager Games (m/f)

    We are looking for a new player for our team in Munich – immediate start!

    We, European Games Group, are a publishing and marketing partner for development studios of free2play games. The developers create the games – we market them and share the returns. The online and mobile games industry is one of the most fascinating and fastest growing markets worldwide, with a double digit growth rate for a number of years and turnover in the billions of dollars. Technical and game innovations build up real emotions, enthusiasm and passion – with products that entertain hundreds of millions of gamers worldwide. We are looking for talented, dedicated and open minded colleagues, who are as enthusiastic as we are and who want to share the ride and additionally gain profound experience and new skillsets on the way, also outside their main line of work!

    Your tasks:

    • Work with external Game Studios and Marketing to optimize monetization through features and in-game events
    • Provide extensive and useful feedback to the developers and give concrete recommendations for changes and features, to reach a games’ commercial potential and optimize its performance
    • Manage product line life cycles incl strategic planning
    • Identify and analyze best practices for optimization and feature implementation.
    • Drive user and competitive research to uncover user segments and identify player needs and product value propositions.
    • Analysis of competition and checking out market trends.
    • Helping the acquisition team to evaluate potential game hits and giving in-depth feedback on new titles, with emphasis on monetization possibilities and game-play improvements.
    • Co-Define future Product strategies
    • Represent the company when talking to partners or pitching to developers on trade fairs

    What you bring on the table:

    • Passionate about games in general, but especially multi format F2P online games, that are played by millions of players worldwide.
    • Deep knowledge of the F2P market and its trends as well as the general game market.
    • Experience in optimizing product features after release through data driven iteration.
    • Knowledge of Game design is a strong plus as well as fundamental expertise in UX/interface design; visually artistic comprehension is a plus.
    • Experience of development and live-operation of at least one free-to-play game.
    • Strong communication skills, both oral and in writing. Fluent in English. German language skills would be a plus.
    • Project management skills and experience with agile development methods like SCRUM and Kanban.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Must be a self-starter, a team player and driven.
    • Must be willing to relocate to Munich, Germany.
